Temperatures and Seasons

Any time of the year is a good time to visit Royale Marlothi Safari Lodge. Spring and summer are our rainy seasons and the bush is lush and green. Many animals give birth at this time of year and summer-visiting migrant bird species can also be seen.

Spring (September – November)
Minimum: ± 18° Celsius / Maximum: ± 30° Celsius
Summer (December – February)
Minimum: ± 20° Celsius / Maximum: ± 35° Celsius
Autumn (March – May)
Minimum: ± 15° Celsius / Maximum: ± 28° Celsius
Winter (June – August)
Minimum: ± 12° Celsius / Maximum: ± 25° Celsius

Autumn and Winter are dry and the bush is less dense, which makes game viewing easier. Animals visit the waterholes more often due to lack of abundant water in the bush.
