Arrival Times

Check-in is welcome any time from 14h00 onwards.

Guests are requested to kindly inform the reservations team if they require a late check-in.


Departure Times

Guests are kindly requested to vacate their accommodation by 10h00 on the day of their departure.

 Any time of the year is a good time to visit Royal Marlothi Safari Lodge.

Spring (September – November)

Summer (December – February)
Minimum: ± 20°C or 68°F / Maximum: ± 35°C or 95°F
Autumn (March – May)
Minimum: ± 15°C or 59°F/ Maximum: ± 28°C or 82.4°F
Winter (June – August)
Minimum: ± 12°C or 53.6°F/ Maximum: ± 25°C or 77°F

Spring and Summer are our rainy seasons, when the surrounding bush is lush and green. Many animals have their young around the rainy seasons and birdwatchers can enjoy the plethora of bird species that have migrated to the park at this time.

Autumn and Winter are dry periods in the bush, when the vegetation is less dense, and game are more visible than usual. Animals also visit the waterholes more often due to lack of abundant water in the bush during water-scarce times of the year.

Cancellation Policy

Full payment is required 14 days prior to arrival.  A 50% deposit is required when making a booking,

100% of the booking fee will be refunded if cancellation takes place up to 15 days prior to the check-in date.

50% of the booking payment will be refunded if cancellation takes place less than 15 days prior to the check-in date.
